Terms of Service

Last updated: March 19, 2026

1. What This Service Does

The Kitchen Sink ("we," "us," "the Service") is a document preparation tool. You upload a debt collection letter, we use AI to extract information and generate a dispute letter citing applicable federal and state consumer protection statutes, and we mail it on your behalf via USPS Certified Mail.

2. Not Legal Advice

This Service is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The generated letter is a form document prepared based on publicly available federal and state statutes. You review and authorize the letter before it is sent. If you have questions about your specific legal situation, consult a licensed attorney in your state.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • You must review the generated letter before authorizing payment and mailing.
  • You are responsible for verifying that the extracted information (collector name, address, amounts) is correct.
  • You must provide an accurate return mailing address.
  • You represent that you are the person named or referenced in the uploaded collection letter, or are authorized to act on their behalf.

4. Pricing and Payment

The Service costs $29 per letter. This covers AI-powered letter generation, PDF preparation, printing, and USPS Certified Mail with Electronic Return Receipt. Payment is processed by Stripe.

5. Refund Policy

  • Once mailed: No refunds. Printing and postage costs have been incurred and the letter is in the USPS system.
  • If mailing fails: If we are unable to mail your letter for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

6. No Guarantees

We do not guarantee any particular outcome from sending a dispute letter. We cannot guarantee that a debt collector will respond, cease contact, validate the debt, or take any specific action. The letter asserts your rights under applicable law — how the collector responds is outside our control.

7. Accuracy of Legal Citations

The letter cites federal statutes (FDCPA, FCRA) and state consumer protection statutes. While we make every effort to ensure citations are accurate and current, laws change. We are not responsible for legal citations that become outdated between updates to our statute database.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid ($29). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Prohibited Uses

  • Do not upload documents you are not authorized to use.
  • Do not use the Service to harass, defraud, or intimidate any person.
  • Do not use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
